LIVE SHIPMENTS

Live animals shipped to the continental US  with our Standard rate are shipped via UPS or Fedex only using the less expensive method that will arrive within 72 hours UNLESS buyer chooses UPS 2 Day or overnight upgrade. Live animals shipped to Alaska, Hawaii, or protectorates will be shipped via USPS only.

Live animal shipments are shipped out ONLY on Mondays with the exception on weeks where a national holiday falls on Monday then we ship on Tuesdays. All orders with live animals will be held 72 hours from the time of order and then ship the Monday/Tuesday that falls AFTER that 72 hour hold. This 72 hour hold is a requirement for fasting live shipments prior to shipping. Because of this 72 hour hold our shipping window closes for the week on Friday at 2 PM. Orders placed after Friday at 2 PM will ship the Monday AFTER the next Monday. All live shipments will have everything needed to safely ship the fish included in the pricing. We do not charge an extra fee for heating packs. Heating packs are automatically included if the temperature at either the origin or destination is under 50 degrees or along the most likely route to get from origin to destination.

GOODS SHIPMENTS

Non live goods that are NOT ordered at hte same time as live shipments or whose weight would make them too expensive to ship with live shipments will be shipped within 3 business days of their order via the lowest cost method unless the customer has chosen an upgraded method of shipping. Goods shipments may be shipped by either USPS, UPS, or FedEx depending on which method is the best overall choice in pricing with a focus on delivery within 7 days.
