USBetta is making the following changes effective April 1st 2022 (no fooling). We will be updating the policy sections of the website to reflect these changes before posting fish for sale.

Shipping will be “free”, as in the price displayed on the fish is the TOTAL price paid including shipping, packing materials, and any environmental controls (IE heat packs). When purchasing multiple fish you will see a small discount to account for combined shipping. The free shipping included will be by OUR choice of carrier, whenever possible we try to use UPS. The exception to free shipping is fish going to protectorates, Alaska, or Hawaii as there will be a surcharge added for these fish to account for the increase to ship to them. You can force shipping by UPS 2 Day or Overnight by checking upgrade shipping options in checkout.

Our cull auctions will be moving to our new auction website where users can also list their own fish for auction as well as bid on our culls. This website will launch May 1st 2022.

Fish will only be offered for a maximum of 2 weeks. Fish we are interested in breeding will be offered for only 7 days for sale. These fish will have Breeder listed in their additional information and will never be part of sales or have their price discounted in anyway.

New for 2022 we will have Mystery Snails in all colors as well as various freshwater Shrimp starting in May 2022. We also be adding other fish that will be available as limited runs as space allows.

We will be getting a shipment every 2 weeks starting May 1st 2022. We do not have space to long term house fish each fish MUST ship on the shipping date specified at the top of the website on the date of order. If you cannot get your fish on that date please do not order. We cannot hold fish or delay shipping.

We will be fasting ALL fish for sale on Friday so they can ship Monday if they sell over the weekend. Because of this change ALL fish sold Monday-Monday (cut off on Monday is 8 AM) will ship on the 1st Monday after their sale.

We will be updating our live arrival guarantee to reflect that unless shipping is upgraded to UPS we provide a live arrival guarantee only if the fish arrives within 72 hours from the date we hand it to the carrier. Refunds due to DOAs will ONLY be by store credit. If you upgrade shipping the live arrival applies even if the fish is delayed by the carrier for any reason. The upgrade charge will not be refunded unless the fish is DOA AND it is refunded by the carrier for delay. Right now most of UPS’s guarantees on arrival EXCEPT for Overnight are suspended.
